Tres Arroyos is a three-day weekend of teachings, meals, fun, and worship designed to help disciples of Jesus renew and deepen their faith and to provide some time-tested methods to become more effective Christian apostles. It is based on the Three-Day Cursillo-type weekends so popular in some other denominations. The words Tres Arroyos are Spanish for “Three Streams” which is the distinguishing feature of the CEC: Our unique blend of Liturgical, Evangelical, and Charismatic theology and worship. All activity during a Tres Arroyos weekend is done with the express intention of being a means through which the Holy Spirit can work more effectively in the lives of the participants. We wish to make the book of Acts a reality in the lives of believers.

The weekend begins Thursday evening and ends Sunday afternoon. The time is highly structured and designed to strengthen and renew the faith of believers by taking a New Testament look at Christianity as a life-style. Participants will spend three busy--but very enjoyable--days, living and studying together with much singing, prayer, discussions, and worship; while creating a Christian community based on love and service.
